Android mobile OS

      Android is a mobile phone operating system which is getting popular fast these days .Because it has a very attractive interface as well as android have lots of applications than the other . so most of the people are interested in android phones.
      I thought of talking about Android cause many people talk about android these days and also they are interested in it very much.In each second 13 android smart phones are sold in the world and also more than five hundred and fifty thousand phones are added to the world each day. So according to that now there are 200 millions of android devices in the world .

                                               
   Android works only in smart phones , except that it works in tablets,E readers, notebooks and also in televisions. Why is that android this much of popular , cause it is a complete mobile operating system.

    Americans started making this program 11 years before , that means in 2001 by Andy Rubin, Rich minor,Cris white and Nick chaser.they needed to to make an OS to fulfill all the needs of the users, So to complete this , they established Android inc-operation in 2003 , but it became a failure due to loss of income .In 2005 Google company buy the android company including Rubi and the other labors , and they named it as "goggle android " with the guidance of Andy Rubin , Google labors and android labors completed this project in 2007 . Android is a Linux based one and it has the qualities of the programming languages such as XML,C ,JAVA and C++. With all these things we can say that android is an Open source software.
    After finishing the basic edition, they establish the Open Handset Alliance   in November 2007 with the leadership of the Google company. It was done with the participation of some leading mobile phone and accessory manufacturing companies in the world.  Open Handset Alliance  provides services such as producing mobile phones that suit the purposes of Android Operating system and developing Android Operating System to  be operatable with latest devices.
      After all these, on 20th of September 2008 , Google published set of codings of the Android OS, by doing so Google gave assistance to invent many applications suitable to be executed with androids.

  To share these Apps, Google company have introduced a special place called Android Market 
in August 2008. Anyone can make Apps and join with Google and can add those Apps to here.They can give them free or can sell to the the Google company.Most of the Apps that Google has brought is available to buy in Android market and many free ones too. Anyway all the Apps are added to the Market via Google company.
   At first there were only few Apps, but in March 2009 there were 2300, In October 2011 there were 319 000 and at the end of 2011 there were over 10 billions of Apps.
  The 1st version of Android was introduced in 23rd September 2008. It was installed first in HTC -dream- GI smart phone. After that 6 versions were introduced and they are named from the names of deserts in alphabetical order.

    Ice Cream sandwich is Android 4.0 edition, latest version of it is Android 4.0.2 which was introduced in 28th of November 2011.
   In the present 17% of tablets and 43% of smartphones are Android , so whole world know about it. The reason behind this is it has good performance as well as manufacturers can use it for free. So Google company earn money to develop Android by selling Apps. From the Apps in the Android market 67% are for free and others are just like 3$ .Six years before Google company brought Android company for 50 million , but now a days it earns billions of dollars
